Sana

Sana is a Blue Tabby Maine Coon queen from Australia, named after Sana from the K-pop group TWICE—a fitting choice for her lively eyes and nurturing personality. Like a gentle older sister, she cares for younger cats, patiently grooming them and sharing food and toys with kindness.

Her arrival holds special meaning for our cattery. We once imported a blue Maine Coon queen from Russia, but she tragically passed away from pneumonia during her layover in Australia. So when we discovered an Australian cattery had successfully bred blue tabby Maine Coons, we immediately knew we had to bring her home. By a wonderful coincidence, that cattery also fell in love with one of our first-generation silver tabby males, making Sana a true “exchange princess” to New Zealand.

Blue is a rare and elegant choice in Maine Coons, not as commonly seen as other colors. Sana’s coat resembles the ocean at dawn, with silvery-blue tabby stripes subtly shimmering in the light. She not only healed our past loss but also became an irreplaceable member of our cattery with her gentle, loving nature.
